Rahul is a graduate of Columbia University, University of California, Berkeley and Clemson University.
Rahul Chopra is a Rockefeller Foundation Fellow and Advisor to Secretary of Commerce for renewable investments.
He served as an Advisor to DOE’s Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory && to City of San Francisco.
He works extensively in venture capital and growth equity opportunities across technologies at-scale, including internet, data, energy, healthcare, and infrastructure.
Rahul leads development and energy infrastructure transformation with international governments and corporations. Partnering with Facebook, Rahul is reimagining internet everywhere by repurposing utility infrastructure. Most recently, Rahul championed San Francisco’s largest public private partnership for broadband infrastructure and is actively involved in reimagining healthcare in the US and creating Green Hydrogen supply chains.
Rahul has founded two startups that invented 10G Ethernet and MIMO-wireless. He raised hundreds of million in capital and formed multi-billion dollar F500 global ventures.
